Cctv Security: On Site Training

On-Site Training

We also offer on-site training for our CCTV systems.

We train the relevant people that will be observing and monitoring the systems, in the sense of how to operate the system, how to block out areas that do not need to be recorded.

For example, if the wind is blowing the tree (if there is a tree in the shot), it can be blocked out so that the hard drive is not filled up by the CCTV constantly recording.

If there is a road behind and the traffic keeps coming past and starts the cameras recording, we can block that out.

We train the clients how to do that, how to actually go in and see how user-friendly the system is for them to be able to monitor.

We also have a twenty four hour team in place that is always there for any back up repairs, any servicing or maintenance, which will ensure that the system is running optimally at all times.

CCTV Deters Opportunistic Crime

There is a belief that CCTV security cameras deter opportunistic crime, where people take advantage of the situation on the spur of the moment.

Todays opportunist is tomorrows professional criminal.

If we can reduce the number of opportunities for easy crime, we can reduce the number of people becoming professional criminals.

CCTV cameras are also creating a vastly increased rate of conviction after criminals are detected.

Virtually everyone caught committing an offence on camera pleads guilty nowadays.

When people know that they have been video taped, they admit to the offence immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions Part 1

How do I choose the correct camera for my application?

Many aspects of the CCTV installation must be taken into consideration in order to obtain the correct performance levels for your requirements.

A high resolution camera should be considered where greater detail of the scene is required.

Choosing a more sensitive camera will improve the reproduction of the image in poorly lit areas.

A conventional camera produces a pale backdrop when an object is shot against a white background.

BLC (which is back light compensation) will counter strong light sources, retaining picture quality.

Concentrated light sources directed towards the camera (e.g. car head lamps) can be inverted by an optional peak white inverter or an eclipser function.

This has the effect of bringing detail to areas and making an object clear, that would otherwise be shadowed.

Why do I have a clear sharp picture in the day and it is out of focus at night?

This is due to the depth of the field of change as the light conditions change and can be easily overcome by the following set procedures.

Massive List of Web-Sites To Make Loads of Cash!

*  Youdata -   A nice reputable site where you simply log-on and see if they have any web-sites for you to click on. There are mainly store web-sites. Through making a profile of your likes and dislikes, they gear the sites they send you towards the things you are interested in.

You do not need to remain on the site for any length of time, just click – that’s it. I clicked on 4 sites and made .81 which was deposited to my Paypal account the following day. They have been slow lately however they do promise to pick up as they are fairly new and working hard to provide a good service.

*   Helium -  An article writing web-site. They have recently made some changes effective December 2010. Personally, I am not impressed with these changes. It used to be you could receive .00 for suggesting a title and then another .00 to .00 for writing to the title. They have done away with this.

You can really get noticed on this site if you produce quality articles. Helium is big on rating articles which are done by fellow writers.

*   Ezine -  Another article writing web-site. They recently made it free to join their site and are allowing people to submit 10 articles. They will review these and let you know if they will keep you. They also move you up in rank and have many perks for being a good writer.

*  M Turk -  This web-site has many small jobs you do right on-line and receive payment through Amazon. After logging in, you begin working on the requests from correcting spelling to clicking on photos and the word that best matches it.

Worth checking out. Its free just as all of these sites are in this article, unless otherwise noted.

*  Elance -  This is a site where people advertise jobs they need to fill which are almost all done on-line. Too much information to list here.

Its best you go to their site and look around. Some of the incomes are as much as a full-time mid-level position.

*  Clixsense -They give you a certain amount of ads and sites to simply click on. You must remain on the page for 30 seconds as there is a timer counting down so you know when to move onto the next offer. Easy..Easy…

YAHOO! SITE MAP: A USEFUL INTERNET MARKETING TOOL

A website refers to a compilation of Web pages that can be typically accessed through a software package, commonly known as  a Web browser (one example is the HTTP on the Internet). These pages, which are essentially documents that are in the HTML or XHTML format (HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language), are accessed from a ‘common root URL’ – or the website’s homepage (as most people know it). From this homepage, the visitor/Internet user can browse or look through the entire website either with the use of the hyperlinks or the URLs of the different web pages.

Viewed on computers and other devices that are capable of connecting with the Internet (such as PDAs and cellular phones), websites can be grouped into numerous types, depending on their use or the services that they offer. Some of them include the following:

· Archive site – maintains and protects electronic contents that are valuable to the point of extinction.
· Business site – promotes a business or a service.
· Commerce or eCommerce site – offers goods for sale.
· Community site – allows people with related and similar interests to communicate with each other (either through chat or message boards).
· Database site – searches and displays a particular database’s content.
· Development site – provides data and sources that are related to software development and web design, among others.
· Directory site – contains wide-ranging contents that are usually divided into categories and subcategories.
· Download site – allows users to download electronic contents, such as game demos and software.
· Game site – provides a ‘playground’ where people meet and play.
· Information site – contains data or content that have the sole purpose of informing visitors (not for commercial purposes).
· News site – dispenses or distributes news and commentaries (similar to an information site).
· Pornography site – shows pornographic videos and images.
· Search engine site – provides general information and serves as a ‘gateway’ for other sites and resources (can also be a web portal site).
· Shock site – shows images and other materials that aim to offend viewers.
· Vanity site – a personal site that is run or maintained by an individual or a small group, the contents of which can be of any information that the site owner wishes to include.
· Blog site or blogs – registers online readings and posts online diaries or discussion forums.
· Wiki site – allows users to collaboratively edit the contents.

Yahoo! is perhaps the most famous example of a very large website. The most popular and widely-used website, Yahoo! is a mixture of the different types of sites – it is a directory site and a search engine site, among others.
Because of the enormous (and diverse) amount of information that it contains, the Yahoo! site map is an extremely useful feature in the Yahoo! website.
A site map is a web page that lists the entire pages on a web site. Organized in a hierarchical fashion, site maps can be in textual or visual form (a diagram or an image).

The Yahoo! site map serves as a blueprint for the Yahoo! website. Similar to a book’s Table of Contents, the Yahoo! sitemap makes it easier for visitors or users to find specific information or pages on the Yahoo! web site without having to browse many pages, because the site map gives an overview or a visual outline of the Yahoo! web site, with each location provided with active links to enable the user to directly move to a specific location.
In addition, the Yahoo! site map allows web developers to put out links from across their sites, making it easier for search engine robots (or engine spiders) to find these pages.

Because the Yahoo! site map improves the search engine optimization of a site, this feature can be considered a valuable tool for online marketers, whose aim is to stimulate and direct traffic to their web sites.
Note, however, that the Yahoo! site map can only give you the ‘basics’. Because it is important for web marketers to ‘rank high’ on main search engines, an effective web marketing strategy that promotes your web site is also very much needed.

Listed below are some search engine strategies to consider:
1. Write a descriptive page title at the top of your webpage that avoids ‘filler’ words like “the” or “and”.
2. Incorporate descriptive keywords on your home page, along with your business name. This is  called “keyword prominence”.
3. Include a Description Meta Tag at the top of the web page. This refers to the sentences (1 or 2 lines, with a maximum of around 255 characters) that describe the content of your web page.
These are just some of the many techniques that you can employ to get more users to visit your website. The important thing is to focus on keywords – and let Yahoo! site map do the rest.
